Richard Welshons has more than 40 years of title insurance industry experience. He began his title industry career when he joined Dakota County Abstract Company (“DCA”), an agency founded by his father, Paul, and grandfather, Amos, in Hastings, Minn. He was named president of the company in 1989 upon his father’s retirement.

Scott Chandler is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Westcor Land Title Insurance Company. He has been in the title business for over 40 years, having started as a title examiner trainee for Safeco Title in Seattle, Wash. Scott has extensive job experience at local and national levels working for several title agencies, underwriters and other national financial service companies focusing on operations, sales and management. He joined Westcor in 2006 as their Western Regional Manager tasked with bringing the new southeastern-based underwriter to the West.

Following in his father's footsteps, Quinn Stufflebeam began working in the family business at a young age. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Management from the University of Utah and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Arizona, Quinn returned to manage a county office in Twin Falls, Idaho. He went on to become the Idaho state president and currently serves as chief executive officer of Title Financial Corp.

Mary Thomas has spent the last 16 years with Stewart Title Guaranty Company and the Stewart Title Family of Companies. She currently serves as Vice President, Chief Regulatory Counsel, Deputy Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Holding Company Counsel. Mary is a graduate of Washington and Lee University where she majored in Politics. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in Houston where she served on the Board of Advocates under Dean T. Gerald Treece and won numerous awards in both Mock Trial and Moot Court including Best Advocate at the National Civil Trial Competition. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Texas as well as before the Supreme Court of the United States of America. In 2016, she attained her Certification in Compliance and Ethics from the Compliance Certification Board. She is currently serving the American Land Title Association through its Government Affairs Committee, NAIC Liaison Work Group which she chairs, the State Legislative/Regulatory Action Committee and the Public Affairs Steering Committee. She also works closely with other state land title associations in a variety of capacities.

Outside of Stewart, Mary, a native Texan, enjoys spending time with her family. She has been married to her husband, David, for 16 years. David has been a Superintendent and co-owner of Deanco, Construction, Inc. for the last 15 years. David and Mary have two children; twelve year old Abby and seven year old Cody.
