The Docket: Title Company May Rely on Default Judgment of Quiet Title

Lauren Foster, senior attorney in the transactional services center for the law firm Paul Hastings LLP, provided today’s review of a decision by the Michigan Appeals Court that held a title company could rely on default judgment prior to issuing a title insurance policy.
