Walled Lake, Mich.-based ConnectingNeighbors.com, a developer of Web-based marketing and communication tools for real estate sales associates, is offering homeowners a direct pipeline to their neighbors through real estate agent-sponsored neighborhood Web sites.

Real estate practitioners can purchase exclusive licenses to as many Web sites as they want on the nationwide network.

Each agent-sponsored Web site is named for the neighborhood it serves and provides information about the area, including new neighbor introductions, lawn care services, local weather, stock market information and a link to Today?s Life Solutions, which features tips and resources for home care, decorating, pet care, parenting and more.

"We developed Connecting Neighbors to build a sense of community," said company founder and former RE/MAX agent Jay Otlewski. "Too often, on-the-go families settle into new homes without knowing anything about the area in which they live. Agents license our sites as a way to give something back to their customers?a perfect way to keep in touch with what?s happening in your own back yard!"

ConnectingNeighbors.com said it has a sales force of more than 50 people and has sold more than 2,500 agent-sponsored neighborhood Web sites since its inception in 2000.
