LandAmerica Appoints Cheryl Cox Vice President

March 11, 2003

RICHMOND, Va., March 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- LandAmerica Financial Group, Inc., (NYSE: LFG), a provider of real estate transaction services, has appointed Cheryl Cox vice president of LandAmerica OneStop Services, the company's wholly-owned subsidiary located in Pittsburgh, PA. Cox will be responsible for overseeing the national closing business channel, including sites in Pittsburgh, PA, Orange County, CA, and Dallas, TX. LandAmerica OneStop Services provides centralized processing for regional and national lenders.

Cox is a veteran of 25 years in the real estate lending business, including senior executive positions with Lender's Service, Inc., Bank One, and First Horizon Mortgage. Cox joins the OneStop Services executive team that includes Melissa Hill, president, Kevin Knaus, senior vice president -- sales and marketing, and Shannon Cobb, vice president -- title production. "We are excited to have someone with Cheryl Cox's experience and customer service focus leading our closing services group," said President Melissa Hill. "Her dedication to providing a national closing solution will ensure OneStop Services continues to prioritize advanced workflow capabilities, robust technology, and superior service."
