Wayne Johnston, now Senior VP/Western Divisional Manager, will oversee the newly formed Western Division with the following regions reporting to him:

California and Rocky Mountain. Wayne left Transamerica in 1985 and worked at Stewart Title in Phoenix as head of the escrow division, managing 18 branch offices and its downtown commercial escrow division. He was subsequently hired by TRW, where he ran direct operations for them in Phoenix and later relocated to California to serve as Regional Manager and head of Agency Relations for the states of California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Alaska and Hawaii. Upon the sale of TRW/Nations Title in 1996, Wayne left to join United General Title.

Paul Moran, now Senior VP/Central Divisional Manager, will oversee the newly formed Central Division with the following regions under his leadership:

Great Lakes and South Central. Paul started in the title business in 1973 with Transamerica Title of Phoenix. Paul went on to manage its businesses in New Mexico, Pima and Maricopa counties in Arizona, and was later appointed to Vice President of Arizona operations. Since that time, he has gained valuable experience and knowledge in virtually every aspect of the business.

Over the next couple of years, Paul worked for several national title underwriters managing operations in the Midwestern United States, eventually overseeing operations in more than 18 states. In 1998, Paul joined United General as Vice President and Central Regional Manager responsible for Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa. A year later his duties were expanded to include Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana, the states now comprising the South Central Region and Mississippi. He later went on to head up National Operations and the Midwest Region for UGT before taking on this new position.

United General has hired a new face with a 30-year track record to take over the Eastern Division.
