Fidelity National Information Services' Property Insight Division Launches Web Application for Title Research

June 1, 2005

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Fidelity National Information Services' Property Insight, a division of Fidelity National Financial, Inc. (NYSE: FNF - News) has launched TitlePoint(TM), a Web-based title search application that will replace existing automated plant application systems and enable access to new markets the company is now developing.

TitlePoint is designed to seamlessly combine multiple title plant databases located across the country, enabling title companies to research title and tax data in multiple states using standard search criteria. Using a standard Web browser, Property Insight's customers can retrieve tax, title and document images, open and update title orders and prepare comprehensive title search packages as part of a paperless work process.

To help title companies perform title research more efficiently, TitlePoint combines data with images of recorded documents, providing immediate access to scanned images of the original source data. While displaying document images, TitlePoint's optical character recognition capability also enables users to convert sections of document images to text, allowing title searchers to more quickly and accurately prepare title research materials for examination.

TitlePoint deployment will initiate in California in 2005 and arrive on Property Insight's 10,000+ users' desktops nationally during a phased roll out over the next two years. Accompanied by two new Support Centers, one in Florida and one in California sharing a common telephony and support management system, deployment has been meticulously planned to minimize impact on customers' operations.

"Our customers are increasingly under pressure to provide services at both the regional and national levels," said John Walsh, President of Property Insight. "Title Point will provide a single point of access to nationwide data, will lower customers' operating costs, improve speed and efficiency and support open connectivity. It's the result of two solid years of hard work and dedication on the part of our outstanding Property Insight team."
