LandAmerica Names Andrew S. Brownstein Senior Vice President - International Operations Manager

RICHMOND, Va., -- LandAmerica Financial Group, Inc. (NYSE: LFG)has named Andrew S. Brownstein Senior Vice President - International Operations Manager. Brownstein will oversee all operations of LandAmerica Financial Group outside the United States from his base in Glen Allen, Virginia.

Brownstein joined LandAmerica in 2001 as Senior Vice President - Corporate Development. Before that, he served in finance and mergers-and-acquisition roles with Colonnade Capital, a private equity firm, and was a practicing attorney with the law firm of McGuireWoods, both in Richmond, Virginia.

"Andy's entrepreneurial and strategic approach will benefit our growing international customer base," said Jeff Selby, Executive Vice President - Commercial Services. "His commitment to superior service will help make LandAmerica the premier provider of real estate transaction services for industry players conducting business outside the U.S."

Brownstein received his juris doctorate degree and bachelor of arts degree in economics and American government from the University of Virginia.
