Matthew W. Morris Named President of New Stewart Business Group HOUSTON---Matthew W. Morris has been named president of Stewart Professional Solutions (SPS), a newly formed business group aligned to provide support services to Stewart Title Co. and Stewart Title Guaranty Co. and their affiliates, both of which are wholly owned subsidiaries of Stewart Information Services Corp.

"The creation of this new group is the next step in aligning ourselves to better meet customer needs while improving service and business processes," said Malcolm S. Morris, chairman and co-chief executive officer, Stewart Information Services Corp. "SPS will work to provide greater efficiencies, reduce costs and provide stronger support for all business-unit strategies."

Forming the core of Stewart Professional Solutions are current Stewart home-office service centers and their associates, including: marketing and communications, technology infrastructure services, employee services, legal services, finance and accounting, and audit services.

"As co-CEOs, we will shift much of our energy from support and home-office operational concerns to a major emphasis on our customer base, office profitability, strategy and the needs of our changing market," said Stewart Morris Jr., president and co-chief executive officer, Stewart Information Services Corp. Matthew Morris most recently has served since 2004 as senior vice president for Stewart Title Guaranty Co., Stewart Title Co. and Stewart Information Services Corp., overseeing the office of planning and development. Prior to that position, he had served as director of operations for a strategic litigation consulting firm. Morris holds a bachelor's degree in organizational behavior and business policy from Southern Methodist University and a masters in business administration with a finance concentration from the University of Texas.
