CE/CLE Credit: Applications Pending – 2008 Federal Conference and 2008 Tech Form

February 14, 2008

ALTA is working to secure approval for CE/CLE credit for the 2008 Federal Conference and 2008 Tech Forum. CE applications were sent to the following states: Maryland, Ohio and Virginia. CLE applications have also been filed in Pennsylvania and Virginia. Upon approval, all attendees will earn 1.0 credits for each of the following sessions:

Federal Conference – CE & CLE Ethics – ALTA Title Industry Consumer Initiative and Principles of Fair Conduct Uniform Closing Instructions
Tech Forum – CE only Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Planning – A Reasonable Approach County Recorders and the Title Industry: On a Collision Course? Risky Business: Using Technology to Prevent Fraud & Mitigate Losses
