Old Republic Continues to Expand in Washington DC Market

Christopher F. Naughten Joins Old Republic National Commercial Title Services in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C.– Christopher F. Naughten has joined Old Republic National Commercial Title Services (ORNCTS), as Vice  President and Commercial Counsel.
Naughten  will be responsible for the growth and development of local and national commercial business.

Naughten is part of the team being formed and directed by Dennis Vendetti, Vice President and Manager, of the new Washington, D.C.,  office opened in Spring of  2009.  Old Republic National Commercial Title Services is a division of Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. Since June of 2008, it has expanded its national footprint in the major commercial real estate markets. Its Washington, D.C., commercial operation is the Commercial division's newest office.

“Naughten delivers a superior breadth and depth of title experience and real estate knowledge to today's complex commercial transactions,” stated Peter Ostrander, Vice President and National Sales Manager, ORNCTS. “In his role as Commercial Counsel, he will work closely with our Commercial team in Washington, D.C., to service local and national customers.”

Naughten received his B.A. from Loyola College, Baltimore, Maryland, and his Juris Doctorate from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University, Washington, D.C. He comes to the Company with 27 years of experience in the title industry, and is a member of the Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors®; Maryland State Bar Association; ABA Real Property & Probate Section; Mortgage Bankers' Association; and the D.C., Maryland and Virginia Land Title Associations. Naughten recently served on the Executive Board of ULI Washington as Co-Chair of the Sponsorship Committee.
