Hawaii Bans Private Transfer Fees; Three More States Await Governors’ Signature

June 24, 2010

Hawaii became the 13th state to ban private transfer fees, while legislation to prohibit the use of these fees is awaiting the governor’s signature in Illinois, Louisiana and North Carolina.
