New Jersey-Based Title Company Acquires Competitor

January 12, 2012

CoreTitle LLC, a full service title insurance firm, recently purchased the assets of competitor Garden State Abstract Company (GSA) of Marlton, N.J., from GSA majority owners Jeff Snyder and Joe Ventresca, co-owners of the RE/MAX of New Jersey franchise.

Principals David T. Dannheim, president, and Justin M. Steinberg, vice president, launched CoreTitle in August 2011, realizing significant growth over the past four months.

"With this purchase, we aim to strengthen our already exceptional offering," Dannheim said. "This is an industry with antiquated processes, but we've embraced the digital age to deliver the premier real estate settlement experience. CoreTitle plans to raise the bar on customer care, set new standards for best practices, and refine business production with new technologies and platforms.”

According to Anne Brennan, president, Garden State Abstract, "To be successful, we must sever ties with the past. So, David, Justin and I will begin that process by closing GSA, so that we can begin this year under one name and one roof."

Dannheim and Steinberg will officially dissolve GSA and assimilate its assets into CoreTitle immediately. The company will retain all of GSA's employees, who will join the CoreTitle team in its Mt. Laurel headquarters by Jan. 30.

"We're excited to become part of the CoreTitle family,” Brennan said. “Energized by its premier service value proposition, we feel a sense of liberty to deliver at the top of our game."
