Entrust Solutions Expands into Georgia
July 10, 2012
Entrust Solutions, a title insurance servicing company known for its back office solutions including its new Nexus Program, which allows small to medium size agents and attorneys a platform to conduct real estate closings with little risk, expands its footprint in Georgia by adding industry veteran Shelley Elder as its Georgia state counsel.
Admitted to practice law in Georgia and Virginia, Elder’s background combines a unique balance between the agency side and underwriter role.
“I have been fortunate to be involved on both sides of the industry and understand the uniqueness each role plays,” said Elder, who formerly worked for Southern Title Insurance Corp.
As a former title company owner and practicing real estate attorney, “I see the Nexus Program as the future of the title insurance industry,” Elder added
“This move benefits all parties involved and solidifies our foundation and role in the Georgia real estate industry,” says Jonathan Yasko, Founder and Managing Member of Entrust Solutions. “Since Georgia has such a need for our Nexus Program, this obviously is the next logical step in our overall concept and I am thrilled to have Shelley as part of our team.”
Entrust Solutions purpose is to provide assistance to their client base in any part of a real estate transaction. Since the industry is trying to stand on its own two feet, we tell our clients, “Let Entrust be your employee,” Yasko said. Entrust offers a wide array of other services including ‘three-way’ escrow / trust account reconciliations, forms production (commitment and policy typing) and file scanning. “Being that Georgia is an attorney state for real estate settlements and coupled with many underwriters pulling out of the state – or – are no longer in business, we can bridge the gap between agents and underwriters without having to worry about net remittance requirements,” Yasko said.
“It’s all about giving our clients options,” says Elder, graduate of the University of Delaware and Widener University School of Law. “Entrust acting as a ‘super-agency’ may help save the real estate practices of many Georgia attorneys.”
