CFPB Amends GLBA Rules to Permit Exemption from Annual Notice Requirement

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) on July 1 proposed a rule to implement legislation that allows some financial institutions to be exempt from sending annual privacy notices to customers.
