N.C.-based Investors Title Appoints Georgia Underwriting Counsel

North Carolina-based Investors Title Co. recently named Greg Riley as its Georgia underwriting counsel. Riley’s responsibilities include maintaining underwriting guidelines and providing underwriting support and education to Georgia-based agents, Investors President Jim Fine said in a press release.

Prior to joining Investors Title, Riley practiced in the areas of real estate closings, estate planning and business law as an attorney and managing member at his firm, Riley Law Firm LLC, in Duluth, Ga. Before that he was managing partner at Riley & Emert PC, in Buford, Ga.

Earlier in his career, Riley developed a national real estate closing, escrow and title insurance agency in Buford where he was responsible for settlement services, operations, marketing, compliance, licensing and audits. He is a member of the Georgia and Florida state bars, as well as the Atlanta Bar Association.
