In addition, we value our agents based on their title industry knowledge and experience, not just on profits alone.

ALTA Large Agents Meeting Slated July 17-19 in Portland

June 24, 2010

ALTA’s Large Agents Meeting will be held July 17-19 at the Hotel Monaco Portland in Portland, Ore.

The meeting provides an opportunity for large independent agents to meet with peers and freely exchange ideas, experience and opinions on issues that affect business today. The agenda is developed by title agents and flows freely since there are only independent agents in attendance.

Some items on the agenda include a discussion on valuing independent agents by underwriters, earning national lender business and lender ratings for title agencies, mortgage subrogation, business operation best practices and the proposed NAIC Data Call.

Hotel Monaco is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Portland and is easily accessible via the MAX light rail from Portland International Airport.
