Mid-Atlantic Title Consultants LLC (MATC) announces the launch of its national division, National Title Consultants (NTC). According to Teresa Williams, chief executive officer of MATC, current market trends show a drastic and unprecedented change in the title industry across the United States. Fraudulent events have occurred: Documents have gone unrecorded, title policies have not been issued, escrow accounts have been manipulated and claims are on the rise. NTC will concentrate on the detection and prevention of title and mortgage fraud throughout the United States.

NTC’s parent company, MATC, has been actively involved in the detection and prosecution of cases involving embezzlement, wire fraud and insurance fraud in the Mid-Atlantic region and in assisting with agency clean-up, agency compliance and regulatory enforcement.

MATC also made several hires. Anthony McDonald was named president, while Melanie Murrell was named president of NTC.
