New Ohio Legislation Allows Priority Liens on Properties with Oil and Gas Wells

July 15, 2010

Legislation signed March 31 by Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland that went into effect June 30 brought significant change to the state’s oil and gas industry, including the ability to place a priority lien on a well if the owner fails to pay fees under the new Oil and Gas Law.
