September 30, 2010

The partnership aims to help promote home ownership and to provide information to distressed home owners on alternatives to avoid foreclosure.

Fidelity National Financial Inc. (FNF) and the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce (CHCC) have joined forces to help promote home ownership and to provide information to distressed home owners on alternatives to avoid foreclosure.

"We are delighted to be able to provide information from MRS and trusted websites in both English and Spanish to chamber members throughout California to both help promote home ownership and to help reduce the number of foreclosures," said Tom Bolinger, vice president and manager of Mortgage Resolution Services.

The Hispanic community has been significantly impacted by the housing market meltdown and foreclosures have literally destroyed some neighborhoods. "Mortgage Resolutions Services, a subsidiary of FNF, is collaborating with FNF's Multicultural Marketing Program and other key private, governmental and non-profits to reach out to home owners in strategic locations throughout the United States," said Pablo Wong, Senior Vice President for Market Development for Fidelity National Financial.

"The CHCC was a leading participant of the California Project Home Owner and a strong believer that a stable housing market is a key component of our economic recovery," said Julian Canete, CEO of the CHCC. The information will be available in the Resources section of the chamber’s website
