Stewart Title Adds to Panama City Beach Office

Stewart Title in Panama City Beach announced the addition of three new associates who bring more than 55 years of combined experience to business development, title and office operations.

David Powell joins the office as the business development officer for Bay County. With 16 years in business development and management in the banking industry, Powell will be primarily responsible for overseeing business development in the Bay County area. He most recently served as senior business banker and market leader for Hancock Bank in Panama City.

Also joining the team as escrow officer is Charles “Chuck” Tucker – previously a title agent and co-owner of Coastal Title Assurance located in Panama City Beach. Prior to joining the title industry in 2003, Tucker worked in corporate legal services, political campaigns and marketing.

Amy Hayes brings 15 years of experience in office management and accounts payable, and will serve as closing coordinator in the Panama City Beach office as well. Hayes selected Stewart based on its outstanding reputation in the community and is happy to continue to serve the Bay County area as a part of Stewart Title.

Powell graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate from Florida State University and attended the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. He has served as the chairman of both the Bay County and the Panama City Beach Chambers of Commerce, in addition to serving on the executive leadership team for the American Heart Association and as a member of the Bay Education Foundation Board.

Tucker received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a minor in Mass Communications from Florida State University. He also serves as a board member for the Bay Haven Charter Academy School and as President of the Bay Haven Charter Academy Foundation.

Hayes received a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University. She has served as the state sponsor for the National Jr. Beta Club which is a service based organization encouraging students in fifth through ninth grades to maintain high academic achievement while serving their school and community.
