Southern Title Announces Several Additions, Promotions

Southern Title Insurance Corp. recently announced several promotions and additions, including the hiring of new agency managers in Georgia, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Among the changes, Colin Yeadon was named audit manager; Kathy Belcher was named commercial underwriter; Ken Grim was named regional underwriting counsel serving Georgia, South Carolina and Mississippi; Randy Morgan was named Georgia agency manager; Sandra Saunders was named New Jersey agency manager; and David Dwyer was named Pennsylvania agency manager.

Yeadon will be responsible for streamlining the logistics for auditing. This includes schedule coordination, deploying auditors to new locations, as well as managing and organizing master lists of all agencies. He joined Southern Title in 2008 as a quality assurance representative. He came to the company with vast experience in escrow accounting having worked as a staff accountant for the nation’s largest personal injury and medical malpractice law firm, Morgan & Morgan, P.A.

Belcher steps into her new role as commercial underwriter. In addition to commercial files, Belcher will also be handling residential files. A licensed title agent since 1986 and a title examiner since 1990, Belcher will provide leadership and assistance to title examiners and other agency personnel. In addition, she will be working with the marketing team and assisting with closings.

Grim joins Southern Title as the new Regional Underwriting Counsel serving as the Georgia, South Carolina, and Mississippi counsel with regional support for other states. A graduate of Georgia State University School of Law, Grim has worked in the legal profession for nearly two decades. He comes to Southern Title from Shafritz & Dean, LLC in Atlanta where he conducted residential and commercial real estate closings as well as general civil and real estate litigation. Previously, Grim served as Senior Regional Counsel with United General Title.

Morgan comes to Southern Title with a 17-year foundation in the title insurance industry. Formerly an Agency Manager with a major underwriter based in Atlanta, Morgan also has industry experience in Florida and throughout the Southeast. Morgan received his BSBA Degree in Accounting from the University of Central Florida, Orlando in 1989. He is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in both Florida and Georgia.

Saunders comes to Southern Title with 20 years of servicing the agency segment. She is active with the New Jersey Land Title Association (NJLTA) is also the co-director of Central State Title School of East Windsor, N.J., which is an approved education provider for title professionals.

Dwyer has experience in sales and marketing, management, as well as title plants and imaging systems. He has worked in many capacities surrounding the title industry for over 20 years. Dwyer attended the State University of New York at Canton and majored in Business Management.
