November 15, 2011

ServiceLink, a provider of end-to-end origination and default solutions for 15 of the top 20 mortgage lenders and servicers, announced two recent additions, naming Donald Blanchard as general counsel and David Holt as senior vice president default strategy and execution.

Blanchard joins ServiceLink with extensive experience in corporate, contract and real estate law where he has served as senior counsel to three national settlement service operations over the past 14 years. Prior to joining ServiceLink, he served as deputy general counsel for Lender Processing Services, Inc. (LPS), where he focused on compliance, regulatory and government affairs.

Before LPS, Blanchard served as general counsel at Landsafe, Inc., the settlement service affiliate of Countrywide Home Loans. He also served as general counsel at LSI in Pittsburgh, where he was a member of the executive management group. Prior to entering the mortgage services industry, Blanchard served as the general counsel of a mid-sized commercial bank in Connecticut. He was also a section chief at the FDIC, where he litigated and managed large asset resolutions for failed banks. Blanchard began his legal career as a real estate lawyer in private practice, closing hundreds of residential and commercial real estate transactions.

"We are pleased to have Don as part of our team," said Jeff Coury, president and CEO of ServiceLink. "As the industry goes through these challenging times, we know that both ServiceLink and our customers will benefit from his extensive knowledge in the areas of regulation, compliance and government affairs."

Holt will work directly with the executive team in the continual development of ServiceLink's default service products and strategies. He joins ServiceLink with over 30 years experience in finance and mortgage default related servicing. Prior to joining ServiceLink, Holt served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of LPS's Default Division. In addition, he spent 10 years of his career servicing non-performing loans for both Wachovia and Ocwen. Holt holds a BBA in accounting from the University of Texas and an MBA from Florida Atlantic University.
