FNIS' Paragon(TM) MLS System Sets the Standard For Success in Internet-Based MLS Systems Technology

SANTA BARBARA, Calif., /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- FNIS (Nasdaq: FNIS - News), a national source for real estate- related technology, data, solutions and services, today announced the 270th benchmark installation of its Internet-based Paragon(TM) MLS product. More REALTOR® Multiple Listing Services (MLS) systems now run on the FNIS Paragon(TM) MLS platform than any other MLS system.

Adding recent installations at MLSPIN (a statewide system encompassing the vast majority of Massachusetts), Monmouth, New Jersey and the Gulf Coast, Florida region, FNIS has experienced an unprecedented rollout of installations since FNIS Paragon(TM) MLS' February 2002 introduction to the marketplace. These three new sites together represent more than 27,000 users and demonstrate the power and scalability of the FNIS Paragon(TM) MLS system. Since the announcement of the company's seventh Paragon MLS system installation in March of this year, FNIS has been aggressively implementing the robust Web-based system across its existing MLS customer base, as well as installing it at new customer sites.

"Paragon MLS systems installations are currently outpacing all other MLS vendor installations, and we are currently on track to install nearly 300 systems by year's end," said FNIS president and COO Dwayne Walker. "The Paragon MLS system is designed to scale from the smallest to the largest MLS organizations with an open-architecture platform that provides customer flexibility, more frequent updates and third party options, making it a strong platform for virtually any MLS board," Walker said.

Representing the next generation of Web-based MLS services, Paragon(TM) MLS utilizes Microsoft.Net(TM) open architecture. An Internet-based MLS system, FNIS Paragon(TM) MLS supports comprehensive listing searches, multiple property and photo viewing, integrated customer communication options, contact management, listings maintenance and links to an expansive array of other services.

"Since its initial launch, the Paragon(TM) MLS system has been well received, garnering high marks from our customers," said Tim Harrison, executive vice president of FNIS' Broker and Realty Services. "Today, two out of every three FNIS MLS systems are running on the Paragon(TM) platform, and we're continually enhancing the system's performance and functionally to better serve our customers' needs."

In conjunction with the FNIS Paragon MLS platform, FNIS offers ListingView(TM), an IDX framing subscription service that allows consumers to search and view standardized MLS information displayed by brokers and agents on their locally branded Web sites. Other product offerings within the FNIS Paragon(TM) Suite include Paragon(TM) AgentOffice, a full-featured desktop CRM application for real estate professionals; Paragon(TM) BrokerOffice, a front office application for brokers; Paragon(TM) Broker Back Office, a back office management and accounting platform for brokers; Paragon(TM) MLS Desktop, a PC-based version of the company's industry leading Paragon(TM) MLS system; Paragon(TM) TransactionPoint(TM), a robust transaction management and communications platform; and Paragon(TM) Web Services, including custom agent and broker Web sites, property tool kits and other Web-based tools.
