RamQuest Inc., a software provider for the land title insurance industry, is extending an invitation to industry professionals to attend the first in a series of free Webinars focusing on the upcoming Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) changes.

Under the new CFPB, the HUD-1 will be replaced once again and RamQuest’s Mary Schuster, vice president of legislative affairs and member of ALTA’s RESPA Task Force, is hosting this online seminar that will give attendees an understanding of the key concepts and theories behind this latest change.

“For title and settlement agents that wish that they had jumped into the 2010 RESPA arena sooner, this is a prime opportunity,” Schuster said. “We are in the early stages today and everyone has the chance now to develop an understanding of timelines and to get an overall lay of the land so that they can formulate a plan as this continues to unfold and ensure that their organization does not get left behind.”

The webinar “Know Before They Go: A Sneak Peek into the CFPB's Foundation for Reform” will be held from 3-4 p.m. ET on June 5.
