Simplifile Adds More Counties Accepting E-recording

January 24, 2013

Two counties in Minnesota and Wisconsin recently began accepting land documents for e-recording through Simplifile, an electronic recording service provider.

Mower County in Minnesota and Vernon County in Wisconsin join the ranks of more than 815 counties using Simplifile to accept documents electronically.

“Mower County recorder’s office is excited to offer e-recording services and the ability to enhance our services to the public and our submitters,” said Recorder Jill Cordes. Mower County joins 42 Minnesota counties that offer e-recording, while Vernon County is the 34 county in Wisconsin to start e-recording with Simplifile.

“When it comes to real estate document recording, we know how important it is to provide quick turnaround for our submitters,” said Vernon County’s Register of Deeds Konna Spaeth. “Simplifile helps us do that with an online service that ensures documents are transferred quickly and securely for recording.”
