Lend a Helping Hand: Snohomish County, Wash., Mud Slide Relief

ALTA is helping collect donations to aid those affected by the mud slides in Snohomish County, Wash.
On March 22, a 1-square-mile slide swept through the area about 55 miles northeast of Seattle, destroying about 30 homes. As of Tuesday, April 1, authorities reported that the mudslide killed 24 people, while 22 others remain missing.
Donations may be made to the Red Cross Snohomish County or The Stanwood Camano Area Foundation. The Red Cross reminds people that cash donations are needed most.
