ALTA Awards National Title Professional Designation to Member in Kansas

ALTA awarded Polly Epting, president and owner of Coffey County Land Title Co. in Burlington, Kan., a National Title Professional (NTP) designation, which recognizes land title professionals who demonstrate the knowledge, experience and dedication essential to the safe and efficient transfer of real property.

"I am pleased to honor Polly Epting with the first National Title Professional designation in Kansas," said ALTA President Rob Chapman. "Her knowledge, dedication and commitment to the land title industry make her a well deserved recipient of this prestigious designation. I encourage more industry professionals in Kansas to follow Polly's lead and apply for this designation."

Epting began working in real estate in 1975 and opened a land title company in 1988. In addition to running Coffey County Land Title, she is the owner of Main Street Realty. Epting has been active in the industry at both the national and state level including the Kansas Land Title Association (KLTA). She has been a member of the ALTA Education Committee since 2004 and served on numerous KLTA committees and the KLTA Executive Board, serving as president from 2003-2004.
