January 20, 2015

Corporation Service Company, a provider of electronic document recording services nationwide, has acquired the e-recording submitter business of PropertyInfo Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Stewart Title Company.

"We are pleased to transition our eRecording business line to the leading eRecording service provider in the industry," said Kyle Chaney, senior vice president of PropertyInfo. "PropertyInfo was one of the first companies to offer eRecording services, and we feel honored that a reputable company like CSC will continue to build upon our eRecording successes and service and support our customers as they grow their eRecording offerings to their clients."

By becoming part of the CSC network, current PropertyInfo customers will now have access to more than 600 additional counties for e-recording. CSC provides electronic recording capabilities covering approximately 90 percent of the population where e-recording is currently permitted. The company continues to work closely with state and local governments to promote e-recording where it is not yet available. CSC is a Mortgage Technology News Top 50 Service Provider.

"CSC pioneered the eRecording industry more than a decade ago and continues to extend its technological capabilities and geographic footprint," said CSC Vice President Mark Rosser. "This strategic partnership will provide Stewart's agencies and affiliates with a much broader network of jurisdictions in which to e-record, reduce their risk, and increase the efficiency of their document recording processes. We are excited to serve these new customers."
