U.S. Supreme Court to Decide if Congress Can Grant Right to Sue in Federal Court

April 28, 2015

Robins this fall to decide whether Congress can give someone a right to sue in federal court, even if that individual cannot show that they suffered any specific harm. The case brings up the same questions that were at issue in First American v Edwards. That case was heard by the Supreme Court in 2012 before being dismissed with no explanation on the last day of the term.
