ALTA President Diane Evans NTP will testify before Congress for the second time within the past month.

  • Laurie Goodman, Center Director, Housing Finance Policy Center, Urban Institute
  • Chris Polychron, Executive Broker, 1st Choice Realty, on behalf of the National Association of Realtors

Evans will again highlight the need for the CFPB to modify and clarify the new TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) rule to help ensure a seamless transition to the new regulatory requirements come Aug. 1. She also will urge Congress to push the CFPB to amend its rule requiring inaccurate disclosure of title insurance premiums and to support H.R. 2213, which would implement a hold harmless period for CFPB enforcement actions regarding TRID through 2015.
