Phishers Target Title Agents with Fake Dropbox Emails

June 2, 2015

Title and settlement agents should be on the lookout for two phishing campaigns directed at Dropbox and Yahoo users. Fake Dropbox emails urge the recipient view “urgent and highly confidential" documents such as "final HUD-1," while the Yahoo emails ask the victim to click a link in order to restore recently expired email access.
