Fidelity National Information Services' Property Insight, a division of Fidelity National Financial, this week announced the launch of TitlePoint, a Web-based title search application that will replace existing automated plant application systems and enable access to new markets the company is now developing.

TitlePoint aims to seamlessly combine multiple title plant databases located across the country, enabling title companies to research title and tax data in multiple states using standard search criteria. Using a standard Web browser, Property Insight's customers can retrieve tax, title and document images, open and update title orders, and prepare comprehensive title search packages as part of a paperless work process. TitlePoint deployment will initiate in California in 2005 and arrive on Property Insight's 10,000-plus users' desktops nationally during a phased roll out over the next two years. Accompanied by two new support centers, one in Florida and one in California sharing a common telephony and support management system, deployment aims to minimize impact on customer's operations.

Fidelity National Financial provides products and outsourced services to financial institutions and the real estate industry. Fidelity also is one of the nation's largest title insurance companies.
