Those elected in the recorders category include:

This is Walker’s first term on the Board of Directors.

Those elected in the business category include:

  • Karl Klessig, president, CSC eRecording Solutions
  • Zachary Zaharek, vice president and senior corporate counsel, First American Corp.

All three have served previously on the Board of Directors.

Mark Ladd, vice president of regulatory and industry affairs for Simplifile, was re-elected for another two-year term as an at-large director.

Directors continuing for a second year of a two-year term include:

  • Kim LeGate, chief deputy of operations, Davidson County, Tenn.
  • Diane Swoboda Peterson, deputy recorder, Woodbury County, Iowa, representing government recorders.

Continuing their second year representing business are:

  • Ann Richards, business development, Pioneer Technology Group
  • Kelly Romeo, vice president, American Land Title Association

Continuing on the board as at-large directors include:

  • Jerry Lewallen, president, eRecording Partners Network

The new board elected officers for one-year terms. Ladd will continue to serve as president; Burtness will continue as vice president; Swoboda Peterson will serve as secretary; and Romeo as treasurer.

“It is an honor to have been re-elected president of this dynamic organization,” Ladd said. “Having participated in PRIA in several capacities during the past 15 years, I understand fully the responsibility I have accepted. There are a vast number of opportunities ahead for PRIA and it is a privilege to be entrusted by my peers to lead this organization for the next year.”
