ALTA President Outlines Industry Priorities

October 13, 2015

During the closing general session of ALTA’s 2015 Annual Convention in Boston, new ALTA President John Hollenbeck NTP outlined the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead of the industry over the next 12 months. Key areas that will garner attention from ALTA and the industry include continued implementation of the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosures; advancing the adoption of ALTA’s Best Practices; communicating directly to homebuyers about the benefits of title insurance; promoting regulatory compliance with an emphasis on market conduct; and expanding a focus on cyber-security risks.
