Skywire Software Appoints Mike McCurley Vice President, Worldwide Sales

FRISCO, TX -- Skywire Software, a leading provider of vertical enterprise software and services, have announced the appointment of Mike McCurley as vice president of worldwide sales. McCurley, who previously served as Skywire Software’s regional vice president of sales, will report to CEO and President Patrick Brandt.
In his new position, McCurley will guide the company’s global sales force, and will focus on broadening Skywire Software’s footprint in all key vertical markets, including insurance, financial services, legal and professional services, and healthcare. Skywire Software offers a broad spectrum of component-based software and professional services, helping companies in key vertical markets solve a wide range of business challenges.

McCurley joined Skywire Software in March 2007 following the company’s merger with Docucorp International. He brings more than 17 years of industry and leadership experience to his new role, including nine years in direct sales and sales management positions for software and professional services organizations. McCurley previously held positions in life underwriting and health claims at State Farm Insurance, and worked in marketing and market research at TIG Insurance. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of La Verne and an M.B.A. in marketing from Pepperdine University.
