Premier Title of Oregon Moves Into The Business Neighborhood

April 2, 2008

Premier Title of Oregon comes to Lincoln County offering title and escrow services to the community through two branches. The Lincoln City office opened Jan. 1, and is located at 2015 NW 39th St., Suite 100. The Newport office, which opened in March, is located at 158 W. Olive St. Both are to host open houses in the near future.

"Title insurance is governed by the insurance commission by fees so we all have the same rules. It boils down to each of us has something to offer, a better and more accurate service. We feel competition is good for the market place," said Bonnie Paul, Premier Title of Oregon county manager, who has 30 years of experience in title and escrow. Premier Title of Oregon operates under Stewart Title as the majority shareholder. Stewart Title is an international company with 32 years of growth in policyholder surplus and reserves, according to Premier Title of Oregon marketing representative Laura Frost. They also provide foreclosure reports for attorneys in litigation and title insurance.

"Our commitment is to provide the highest quality of title and escrow service by using global technology without sacrificing that personal home town touch," Frost commented.

She described a company tool, SureClose online transaction management system. SureClose allows buyers, sellers, real estate agents and brokers, title agents, and lenders in real estate transactions to monitor the progress of transactions online from any computer with Internet.

"We want to set ourselves apart from local companies out there by providing more useful information and tools to help realtors and brokers and the community," said Paul.

SureClose creates a greener business practice with paperless transactions.

Frost added that Premier Title periodically offers classes to the community on savings and loans, and classes on their paperless transaction services.
