Resource Title Adds Industry Veteran to Manage Retail Marketing and CE Seminars

June 19, 2008

Independence-based Resource Title Agency, Inc. has added mortgage industry veteran Kristin Mason. Mason will serve as the agency’s Manager of Retail Marketing and Continuing Education. She will oversee the construction of continuing education seminars and materials for Realtors, real estate agents and mortgage professionals. Mason will also manage the marketing of the company’s title insurance and real estate closing products to retail customers.

Independent and family-owned, Resource Title has been a successful player in the mortgage and real estate industry since 1984, providing traditional title insurance services as well as non-traditional offerings, such as relocation, default and Real Estate Owned services (REO). While many title agencies have struggled during the well-publicized mortgage industry meltdown, Executive Vice President Andrew Rennell believes Resource Title continues to grow because of its strong customer relationships and diverse blend of product and service offerings. “We’re thrilled to add a manager of Kristin’s caliber,” said Rennell. “Her industry knowledge and communications expertise make her a powerful asset to our clients, and allow us to provide even more value to our customers.”

Mason comes to Resource Title with nine years of experience designing seminars and CE instruction courses with one of the nation’s largest title insurance companies. Before that, Mason worked with regional lender Cuyahoga Savings for five years. Mason grew up in Chardon, and currently lives in Parma with her husband and two children. She is excited by the potential at Resource Title. “Resource Title is a great story in an otherwise scuffling market,” said Mason. “This is an agency poised to grow while others are shutting their doors. Although the company is built on the traditional paths to title agency success—trust, honesty and durable relationships—its diverse offerings and ability to adapt to changing customer needs really make it stand out.”
