Long-time General Counsel for CATIC Passes Away

Impact of Government Shutdown on ALTA Members

Revised Risk Retention Rule (QRM) Expected This Week without a Mandatory 20% Downpayment
August 26, 2013ALTA expects that regulators will propose a new draft of the Qualified Residential Mortgage (QRM) rule this week that will closely mirror the Qualified Mortgage (QM) rule that came out of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) earlier this year. The new proposal is expected to drop a 20% downpayment requirement that was included when the rule was first issued in 2011.

Bureau Clarifies 2013 Escrows Final Rule
