Capital Title Group Names New Member to Its Board of Directors

PHOENIX, /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Capital Title Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: CTGI) - today announced that it will add Terry S. Jacobs to its Board of Directors effective April 1, 2002, bringing the total number of directors to seven. Mr. Jacobs is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Regent Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: RGCI), a radio broadcasting company that owns and operates 61 radio stations throughout the country.

Mr. Jacobs founded several highly successful companies during his 23 years in the radio broadcasting industry that started in 1979 with Jacor Communications (Jacor). In 1982, Jacor completed the first pure radio IPO providing capital to initiate the company's growth in becoming the nation's ninth largest radio group prior to its sale. He went on to co-found the initial Regent Communications in 1993, building it to the 30th largest radio group when it was sold in 1997. Mr. Jacobs and his partner immediately moved on to create the current Regent (II) Communications.

Mr. Jacobs' career began in the insurance industry where he served in various senior executive capacities over an 18 year period that included Aetna, Prudential and American Financial Insurance Group (associated with Carl Lindner) where he was Senior Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors. He has a Masters degree in Actuarial Science from Georgia State University and is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Mr. Jacobs is currently a member of the Board of Directors of National Grange Mutual Insurance. He is Chairman of the Board of the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame and a member of the National Board of the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame. In addition, he has been very active in community foundations serving as President or Board member for Big Brothers/Big Sisters; Bethesda Hospital of Cincinnati, Ohio; The Morehead State University Foundation; and the foundations of local schools.
