Edina Realty, the Midwest?s largest residential real estate firm, has made available on its Web site HomeDocs, a Web-based system that gives buyers and sellers secure online access to home sale, finance and closing documents.

"HomeDocs offers our customers the convenience of accessing their home transaction documents online, anytime, through a secure site using password protection and the latest encryption technology," said Ron Peltier, president and CEO, Edina Realty.

Using a standard Web browser, customers can use a password to access the HomeDocs system, which contains a range of property-related documents, such as purchase agreements and finance documents. Edina Realty home services associates involved in the transaction, including the sales associate, loan officer and title professionals, can also use the system to securely access property-related documents.

Edina Realty partnered with Minneapolis-based Active IQ Technologies to customize HomeDocs, Edina Realty?s privately labeled document management system, for application to the residential real estate industry.
