North American Title Receives Oregon License

November 15, 2012

North American Title Insurance Company (NATIC) received the certificate of authority from the Oregon Insurance Division which grants them the ability to insure real estate titles in Oregon.

With the addition of Oregon, NATIC now does business in 30 states, bringing the company closer to accomplishing its growth strategy, of reaching all the major metropolitan areas of the United States. Indiana and Idaho are currently pending applications while the company is in the process of submitting applications in several other states. In November, the company received its license to operate in Washington State.

"Entering the Oregon market brings us one step closer to achieving our expansion goals in the Pacific Northwest,” said Emilio Fernandez, president of NATIC. “Now we will focus on other key states in the area. We look forward to offering our distinctive services in a state with such distinguished service standards. We truly feel NATIC will exceed the needs of this market’s service models, which will attract those Oregon independent title agents who are looking for service excellence and a true business partner in their underwriter. A new kind of underwriter is in town and we're looking for the best agents around."
