November 26, 2013

Stewart announced that Laurie Pyle, executive vice president of operations and chief information officer of Stewart Lender Services, has been named a 2013 Woman of Influence by HousingWire.

The annual award honors women who are powering the U.S. housing economy. Women of influence are chosen for the positive result they have on the housing industry.

“This year’s honorees represent a very special group of women. We focused more than any other year on women whose efforts have driven measurable and positive results for their companies, and the industry in general," said Paul Jackson, CEO and publisher, HousingWire.

Pyle oversees Stewart Lender Services operations, which includes a call center, loss mitigation solutions, foreclosure review solutions, REO solutions, origination support, post-closing services and capital market solutions. Additionally Pyle oversees all mortgage technology services.

“We are thrilled that Laurie has been acknowledged by HousingWire for her achievements in the mortgage services space,” said Jason Nadeau, Stewart group president. “Laurie has been integral in building Stewart Lender Services into a full-service mortgage services organization. Laurie combined a strong vision for metric-based management with workflow and decisioning tools to develop models and processes for managing the often cumbersome mortgage processes.”

Pyle joined Stewart in 2007 and has nearly 20 years of experience managing technology, operations, implementation and consulting.

“Through her vision of a lean, technology-centric organization we have built a culture of success and have created Stewart’s innovative and competitive lender services offerings,” Nadeau added. “In addition, under Laurie’s direction, we have developed a unique approach to managing mortgage operation that allows Stewart to proactively manage flexible staffing between various operational solutions.”
