North American Names New Strategic Agency Manager

July 14, 2016

Michael Holden has been named to the new position of vice president, strategic agency manager for North American Title Insurance Co. (NATIC).

Holden, who transitioned to this role from managing field operations for NATIC for the past year, will continue to serve as state agency manager for NATIC’s Great Lakes region.

“Our phenomenal growth over the past few years has provided us with the opportunity to identify areas within our company where we can better consolidate functions as well as areas that need greater attention,” said Emilio Fernandez, president of NATIC. “Our field operations office in Charlotte, North Carolina, will align within the broader operations department. This will allow Michael to focus on important strategic issues that are critical to NATIC in such areas as agent offerings, technology, rates and forms, and other agent-targeted programs.”

Fernandez said Holden’s intimate knowledge of title insurance underwriting and business operations has been a valuable asset to NATIC over the past five years, and in his new role, that wisdom and experience promises to be a boon for NATIC agents, as he  implements beneficial programs to help agents grow their businesses.

Holden has served the title industry since 1989, including owning and operating a large title agency in Missouri for 19 years. Prior to joining NATIC, he worked for two regional underwriters as national agency manager.
