Washingtonpost.com today launched a new real estate section that the print publisher said will put the user "at the center of a 360-degree Internet experience."
According to the publisher, the new section contains content from The Washington Post print edition and other sources, mortgage rates, home values and recent sales of area properties.
"?Content orbiting? is a powerful way to deliver the most useful and interesting experience for our users," said Washingtonpost.com CEO Christopher M. Schroeder. "The goal is to eliminate dead-ends and make certain that wherever users go on our site they can easily and quickly move from one task to the next."
The Web site also features real estate listings, Web-only columns and reports, live discussions, message boards and information from advertisers, including a marketplace of homes for sale, loan rates and offers, rental properties and commercial listings.
