Claritas Inc., a provider of marketing information and target marketing services, and GlobeXplorer Inc., a technology company that distributes interactive aerial photos via the Internet, today announced an agreement that enables Claritas to provide aerial images.
The earth imagery feature initially will be made available at SiteReports.com, a part of the ClaritasExpress.com portal site that provides access to 35 reports and 17 maps that feature demographics and businesses, restaurants, shopping centers, retail trade potential, financial data and lifestyle segmentation information.
The agreement will eventually incorporate the imagery into the company's desktop products iMark and iMark Online, an interactive Internet platform for site and market analysis. Customers will be able to combine high-resolution imagery into site location reports for printing. Future upgrades will allow users to integrate Claritas data directly onto the aerial image, according to Claritas SVP Steven Egge.
"Partnering with Claritas allows us to integrate our content with the wealth of data they provide to a wide range of customers, extending the reach of earth imagery into the real estate and property development markets," said GlobeXplorer CEO Paul Smith.
