Charter One Adds Home Price Data To Its List Of Mortgage Services

Charter One Mortgage Corp. today announced that it has partnered with Domania Inc. to bring home price data to its customers via Domania's Home Price Check, a 27 million-record search engine of historical home prices.

Charter One aims to enable consumers to perform nearly all the steps in the loan origination process online, including obtaining instant approval, detailed closing costs, custom rate quotes, and locking in or floating their desired rate.

With this agreement, consumers will now be able to access Domania's database of home sale prices on Charter One's Web site, as well as receive e-mail alerts about home sales in their neighborhood of interest.

Charter One Mortgage is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cleveland-based Charter One Bank NA.

Domania is a financial and marketing services software company that provides customer acquisition and retention products to banks, mortgage lenders and Realtors.
