TransUnion today announced it has acquired Statewide Documentation, a nationwide document preparation and signing service company, in an effort to further enhance its review processes and tracking systems.

The acquisition will enable lenders to order documents through their existing origination systems that directly feed data to TransUnion. The system also offers several delivery options and flexibility so that new documents can be formulated and merged into a lender's current set within a few hours, according to TransUnion.

TransUnion's loan origination process aims to help lenders manage the preparation and delivery of closing documents in an accurate and timely manner, while being compliant with individual state requirements.

"This acquisition will further enhance TransUnion's ability to provide its customers with the necessary tools for implementing a fully-automated, end-to-end loan origination process," said TransUnion Settlement Solutions President Rick Lynch

Chicago-based TransUnion is a global information solutions company that offers financial data through a broad range of products and services.
