Transamerica Flood Hazard Certification is the latest company to join a la mode's nationwide electronic appraisal delivery network.

The flood zone data provider will serve as the primary source of flood certification services to the mortgage brokers, lenders and management companies on the a la mode Mercury Network.

Transamerica Flood has previously provided flood zone data to a la mode's InterFlood Web site for flood maps, and has been a source of flood data available to appraisers in a la mode's WinTOTAL desktop software.

Transamerica and a la mode have maintained and expanded their relationship even after a legal dispute over the InterFlood Web site and its use of Transamerica's data, according to a la mode. The lawsuit was dismissed after the companies worked out their differences, and forged ahead with a clarified licensing arrangement.

Other Mercury Network members include 3S/RealServ, Advanced Collateral Solutions, Appraisal Enhancement Services, FISERV Integrated Loan Services, General American Corp., Nationwide Appraisal Services Corp., Ocwen Financial's OTX and Value IT.

Hasbrouck Heights, N.J.-based Transamerica Flood provides flood zone determinations to loan originators, mortgage servicers, appraisal and insurance companies.

Oklahoma City-based a la mode Inc. is a real estate appraisal technology provider.
