Linda M. Tessman Appointed Chairperson of Title Standards And Practices Committee of The Rhode Island Bar Association

ROCKY HILL, Conn. - CATIC®, New England's largest domestic title insurance underwriter, is pleased to announce that attorney Linda M. Tessman has been reappointed chairperson of the Title Standards and Practices Committee of the Rhode Island Bar Association for the 2005-2006 term. She has served as the Committee's chairperson since 2003.

Tessman is Rhode Island title counsel and underwriter for CATIC. She provides underwriting support to CATIC agents for both commercial and residential real estate transactions.

Tessman received a B.A. from Salve Regina University, Newport, R.I. (1982), and a J.D. from Western New England College School of Law, Springfield, Mass (1986). She is a frequent speaker at CATIC seminars and has also participated as a guest speaker in continuing legal education programs conducted by the National Business Institute and the Rhode Island Bar Association.
