Khan named CIO for Stewart Information Services Corp.

Murshid S. Khan has been named the chief information officer for Stewart Information Services Corp. (NYSE-STC). He most recently worked for the Walt Disney Co. as director of IT telecommunications, global strategy, engineering and advanced services.

Khan has 17 years' experience in leading and managing complex IT operations and is especially adept in change management. In his position with Disney, a FORTUNE 100 company, he led Disney’s networking and telecom strategy, architecture and project services functions on a global scale.

"Mr. Khan will be responsible for enhancing an IT organization that is business-focused, proactive in its planning and process-driven to accomplish Stewart's corporate mission to 'enhance the real estate transaction process.'"

Khan will coordinate with Pat Vaden, the newly named CEO of Stewart Transaction Solutions, as well as other senior-level managers for the development of Stewart's strategic plan.

Khan has a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology and has completed a number of executive management, finance and professional courses.
